Finding a new home in a relaxed manner sounds like an impossibility. The endless clicking through numerous property websites, arranging viewing appointments and the time it takes just to get to your potential new home. A fairly new trend has come to the rescue and turned the search into an experience: virtual house viewings in 360° fascinate prospective customers and simplify the decision-making process.

Pages like enyhomes.ch and immovisual.ch are leading the way: To make a house virtually accessible, the rooms are photographed with special cameras and measuring equipment and assembled into a coherent image on the computer. The finished home tour can then take place on the screen or with VR glasses, whereby the latter of course feels a little more like being on site. You can navigate using arrows or a floor plan in the image. While we look around the rooms at our leisure, we also get an impression of the property that simple pictures could not give us. In contrast to conventional flat viewings, you don't get the feeling that you are invading the privacy of the current occupant and you are not shunted from one room to another with lots of other viewers. What's more, the time and location no longer play any role at all. If a move abroad is planned, this can save a lot of time and money.

Virtual viewings also make things easier for the seller. Instead of potential buyers coming in and out only to find that they don't like the house at all, they can already make their decision thanks to the virtual viewing. This means that only really qualified potential buyers come to viewings, which saves a lot of effort.

On similar way can also be used to view flats that have not yet been built. The technology behind this is of course much more complicated, as a 3D model of the property has to be created first. However, you can then furnish the property as you wish.
