Own production Rotten Apple new at Vrilliant

The Vrilliant Arena in Zurich has released its own VR game. It is called Rotten Apple and is a classic zombie game.

It's already been a year and a half since we visited the Vrilliant Arena in Zurich, and we're very excited about it. reports have. We tested two games back then (Alice in Wonderland and Chernobyl), which they offered as purchased titles then (as they still do today). Now it's their own production: Rotten Apple, which they had already announced back then.

Since the outbreak of the plague, New York has been turned into an isolated quarantine zone. As a player, you are on your way to the border of the quarantine zone to reinforce the guard when an unexpected distress call forces you to enter it. Those who enter the quarantine zone rarely return. So it's a matter of life and death and whether you get out of there in one piece.

Zombie Shooter as a Free-Roam Experience

Rotten Apple is a zombie shooter developed for VR arcades by Vrilliant. Accordingly, the game is a free-roam experience (players run around freely in a 6x6m area) that is especially tuned for VR beginners.

The whole experience is pretty much timed from start to finish, so game-goers can expect the same game length each time, and that is 35-45 minutes. The game also has a more difficult mode where players can die and may not finish the game in time, so you may want to play more than once.

The game leaders can observe the players via their own screen and adapt the game to the players (e.g. reduce the difficulty level for beginners). Date Night vs. Team Event: The game is just as playable for two players as for four. And here too: It automatically adjusts the difficulty level to the number of players.

More than just shooting zombies

The game also appeals to those who do not like to handle weapons. It also offers puzzles and atmospheric and narrative moments.

Vrilliant promises: Continuous improvement: "We will continue to improve rotten apple with new game modes, seasonal themes and more. Stay tuned!" it says on their Website.

We will certainly go by for a test sometime.
