Ifolor celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2021. To mark the occasion, the photo book manufacturer is launching an augmented reality (AR) postcard. Until 10 July, writers can send personalised video messages in a "Magic Postcard" free of charge.
The Swiss photo company Ifolor has launched an AR postcard to mark its 60th anniversary. With the so-called "Magic Postcard", postcards can be personalised not only with a picture, but also with a video message. The whole thing works via a QR code, as detailed in a press release. The service is free of charge. Until 10 July, interested parties can send a postcard to up to five recipients every day.
In addition to the AR postcard, there is also a memory game on the Ifolor website to mark the anniversary. The top players on the leaderboard can win various prizes.
This is not the first time the company has experimented with augmented reality. Ifolor launched a photo app with an AR function back in 2018.
