How the Fusion Arena helps fight boredom

Under the motto: Together instead of alone: hero community on Discord, Fusion Arena is calling on people to fight Corona boredom together. Among other things, a stream of Half Life: Alyx is supposed to help. Taking into account, of course: Stay at home.

Watching films together, drinking coffee, doing workouts, chatting or gaming? Staying at home because of Corona doesn't mean that you have to do without social contacts or new acquaintances. Theoretically, all this is also possible virtually. Fusion Arena thinks so too and reports that you can join their cool community. Discord which consists of a couch-sitting group of heroes.

What is Discord actually?

If you know Slack or Microsoft Teams from your workday, then Discord is just that, just for gamers. Discord offers communication options via voice, video and text chat. Fusion Arena has created different channels for you, so that you can exchange ideas as you please.

The virtual reality first-person shooter "Half Life: Alyx" by Valve was released last week and of course received an enthusiastic grade of very good and few criticisms from our expert already tested. With over 15 hours of playtime, it is probably the most elaborate VR game that has been developed to date. "Challenging, awesome atmosphere, creepy", confirm the Fusion Arena staff. You can find the scheduled streaming times in the Discord channel.

VR possibilities within your own four walls

For those who are trapped in self-isolation, own a VR headset and are wondering which games are really fun, Fusion Arena has put together a great list: Here are their personal favourites: Superhot, Pistol Whip, Beat Saber, Robinson, Sports Scramble, Creed, Moss and of course the latest game Half Life: Alyx. =)
