VR trainer for improved reactions

The "REAKT Performance Trainer" offers users a "virtual mental skills system" designed to improve one's performance in a variety of sports and physical activities.

The "REAKT Performance Trainer" is now available for the Oculus Quest platform available. According to developer NeuroTrainer, "REAKT Performance Trainer" uses a combination of visual concentration and sports awareness to improve decision-making, hand-eye coordination and reaction time.

The core of the gameplay is about blocking a series of increasingly fast-moving bullets while dodging an arsenal of deadly bombs. The further you progress, the faster the respective objects move, which leads to an increasingly chaotic state and requires corresponding reflexes. Three game modes are available: "Custom Training", "Competition" and "Recommended Training". Further information can also be found on the official side.

"We saw an opportunity to harness the power of virtual reality and make a high-intensity environment, usually reserved for elite athletes, accessible to everyone. Physical training can only take a competitor so far. Once you start using the brain training, it almost feels like a superpower and you start seeing improvements everywhere in life - playing sports, gaming, getting familiar with things before a meeting - even driving," says the developer.
