Gameplay impression of the VR music game Unplugged

VR publisher and developer Vertigo Games and the newly founded VR studio Anotherway are now showing the first gameplay for the upcoming VR music game "Unplugged" (provisional title).

In the current behind-the-scenes video, music and VR fans get an insight into the development of the title, which additionally shows first gameplay impressions and the vision behind the game. "Unplugged" will be released in the third quarter of 2021 for multiple VR systems. According to the makers, "Unplugged" is a VR music game that uses a novel as well as qualitative hand-tracking technology and puts players in the role of music legends on a virtual stage.

"Unplugged is a VR music game that puts you in front of an audience," says developer Ricardo Acosta. "It's not about learning to play guitar, it's about feeling like a rock star. It's about immersion. We want you to feel like you're really there: a rock star in front of a big audience that you interact with."

"With Unplugged, Anotherway implements high-quality hand-tracking technology into VR gameplay, creating a whole new level of immersion that impresses us greatly," said Richard Stitselaar, Managing Director of Vertigo Games. "We are full of anticipation to release Anotherway's unique VR vision in 2021."
