New exercises for BoxVR

One of the most popular New Year's resolutions is often to lose weight or get fitter. But if you don't want to go to the gym, fitness software for at home might be an alternative, even in VR. BoxVR, for example, is suitable for this and has recently been updated.

Since December 2019, you can look forward to 12 new workouts and over 140 minutes of brand new music. "These workouts have been designed by professional fitness trainers to give you a real fitness experience in the comfort of your own home," says Sameer Baroovaco-founder of the developer FitXR. "Ianthe, the head of our fitness department, has also come up with a fitness challenge for January. Every day there will be a new lesson and as the month progresses it will become more and more difficult. Keep an eye on our social media channels and join in!"

"BoxVR has had a significant impact on the virtual reality industry by expanding the horizons of the medium far beyond what many would have expected from the hardware. Not only have we proven that there is an enthusiastic and large community of gamers interested in alternative fitness, but also that the potential of VR is endless," Sameer Baroova continues. "It's so much fun for us to work directly with the community and improve the gaming experience with new content, and we're very excited to see how our players will interact and train with the update."

According to the creators, "BoxVR" was designed to provide players of different fitness levels with workouts to do at home. So everyone can join in to get rid of their Christmas pounds. "BoxVR" is compatible with PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality.
