National Geographic publishes 360-degree nature series

YouTube and National Geographic have teamed up to release an exciting 360-degree nature series that looks at the last wild places on our planet.

The whole thing has already started. The first episode of "The Okavango Experience" is available on YouTube compatible VR headsets such as Google Daydream, Oculus Go or Playstation VR are supported. You can also access the Daydream app from National Geographic to fall back on. The next three episodes will be published weekly (each on a Tuesday) and two more 360-degree series of this kind are planned for next year.

"The Okavango Experience" is an 18-day expedition along the African Okavango River. We accompany Dr Steve Boyes and his team and experience interesting insights into nature. "The Okavango Experience" consists of a total of four episodes. The film was shot in stereoscopic 3D 360 degrees, which means the picture quality is quite decent.
