Company teamazing revolutionises teambuilding with virtual reality

Revolutionising the teambuilding industry? That is the mission of the teamazing company. Away from outdated measures and towards innovative methods with new technologies such as virtual reality (VR).

Traditional team building concepts are already over 20 years old and thus long outdated. The industry has been crying out for innovation for a long time. In many established companies, static "armchair circle team building" still prevails. With the novel concept of teamazing teambuilding is extended by the factor "experience".

With VR to natural cohesion

Managing Director Paul Stanzenberger explains enthusiastically: "With us, the teams immerse themselves in virtual realities, develop clever strategies and compete for victory. In the process, important skills are trained in a playful way and cohesion is promoted in a natural way." The tasks require good teamwork from all
participants and create positive emotional connections between the participants. It is also a good opportunity to recognise personal strengths and weaknesses in order to learn how to deal with them.

Professional experience building also contributes to positive emotions being linked to the company and having a long-lasting effect. This not only has an influence on the relationships between colleagues, but also contributes significantly to the employees' identification with their own company. For many companies, this is a good reason to use experience building as an effective measure for employer branding,
assessment centres, onboarding processes or as an integral part of good change management.

With VR into the thoughts and memories of others

As the latest teambuilding measure, teamazing is now the first provider to offer VR. Three to five people slip into the role of a special intelligence unit. The unit has a special machine called "Memory Hunt". With the help of their machine, the team can tap into people's minds and view thoughts and memories. After a short problem presentation, the participants find themselves with the
help of Memory Hunt (VR glasses) in the brain of a certain suspect. There they can look around at will and relive all the memories.

"You feel so much like a suspect that reality and the game literally merge. An unbelievable goosebump experience," says chief developer Andreas Mairold. To structure the memories and thoughts of the suspect and thus filter out the most important information
requires effective communication, planning and teamwork. Paul Stanzenberger adds: "No VR game before had such a high team-building character. Our customers were extremely excited about the release of the game and are now looking forward to great results from the teams and lasting memories from the participants."
The South German company teamazing was founded as a start-up in 2014. The successful team around the two founders Paul Stanzenberger and Andreas Mairold now comprises 16 permanent employees. The games are all developed in-house and are therefore unique.
