Assetto Corsa Competizione gets VR mode

Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games will release the PC racing simulation "Assetto Corsa Competizione" on 12 September 2018 in the Steam-Early-Access publish. Initially there will be no VR mode, but this will be added later.

Early access means that a game is released unfinished and not with all content in order to finalise it based on player feedback. This is why several updates are planned for the realistic "Assetto Corsa Competizione". A new version will be released on 10 October 2018, which will include VR support. What exactly this will look like and which VR headsets will be supported is not yet known. However, it is safe to assume that HTC Vive and Oculus Rift will be supported.

"Assetto Corsa Competizione" is the official racing game of the Blancpain GT Seriesa Grand Touring racing series named after the world-famous Swiss watch manufacturer Blancpain and is organised by the SRO Motorsports Group. "Assetto Corsa Competizione" uses the popular Unreal Engine 4 and aims to provide the highest quality rendering, including photorealistic weather conditions and graphics, to achieve a new standard of driving realism and racing feel.
