No Man's Sky soon playable in VR

Hello Games has announced that the major "Beyond" update for "No Man's Sky" will be released on 14 August 2019. The download will make the space game compatible with PlayStation VR and Steam VR, among others.

The fact that you can experience the entire title in virtual reality via the free VR mode is particularly pleasing. The whole thing is therefore not a short VR experience that is detached from the actual game. Incidentally, you can also play with non-VR users in the multiplayer part.

"Grab the joystick and thruster to steer your spaceship across an unexplored alien planet while admiring the view from the cockpit," says Sean Murraythe founder of Hello Games, on VR support. "Take your multi-tool out of your backpack, touch it to manipulate the terrain and create fascinating shapes with unprecedented precision."
