Catan GmbH, Catan Studio, Asmodee Digital and Experiment 7 have finally released "Catan VR" for the popular Oculus Quest platform. The latest trailer serves as an introduction.
"Catan VR" has been released for various platforms in recent years, including Oculus Rift, Oculus Go, Gear VR, HTC Vive, Windows Mixed Reality and PlayStation VR. "Catan VR" was developed in collaboration with the original "Catan"-Machern, Vater Klaus und Sohn Benjamin Teuber, entwickelt. „Die fantasievollen Ingame-Umgebungen und das plattformübergreifende Online-Spiel erwecken das Brettspiel zum Leben, egal wo die Spieler sich gerade befinden,“ so das Versprechen der Entwickler.
As with the other VR implementations, players can gather around a table and play a round together despite the distance barrier, which is of course thanks to the online multiplayer. However, you are of course also welcome to compete against the AI. The download can be found in the Oculus Store.
