Augmented Reality Sidewalk Exhibition in Lucerne

From 10 June to 9 July 2021, a pavement exhibition will take place for the first time in Lucerne at Kasimir-Pfyffer-Strasse 2. Over 20 QR codes on the shop window of the StadtHirsch advertising agency offer a special kind of experience.

The exhibition can be enjoyed free of charge and, logically, 24 hours a day.

To start the augmented reality (AR) function, you need to scan one of the QR codes with your mobile phone camera. Press the link displayed and a three-dimensional object appears that can be placed in the environment. With each QR code, interested parties can discover a different object from the world of technology or nature. For example, you can select an aeroplane, a helicopter or even animals such as a deer or a trendy unicorn and place it in the environment.

For people who have never had anything to do with AR, it's certainly quite funny.
