The iconic investigator duoconsisting of Sam and Max, returns, but this time in VR. Happy Giant officially announced "Sam & Max: This Time It's Virtual" at the digital Gamescom 2020.
"Sam & Max: This Time It's Virtual" will be released in 2021, but specific VR platforms have not yet been named. However, a first trailer shows the direction it is heading in. In the new action-adventure game, you are recruited and trained by Sam and Max to become part of the Freelance Police.
Of course, you have to help the duo fight evil. Series creator Steve Purcell has been brought in as gameplay, art design and story consultant, while David Nowlin and Dave Boat have returned to voice Sam and Max. So there's a lot of tradition on board, which should please fans.
