Das Action-Adventure „Apex Construct“ wird am 20. Februar 2018 für PlayStation VR auf den Markt kommen, wie der Entwickler Fast Travel Games bestätigt hat. Besitzer von HTC Vive und Oculus Rift müssen länger warten. Here the release will not take place until 20 March 2018.
„Apex Construct“ takes place in a destroyed and post-apocalyptic world in which you have to deal with merciless robots and two artificial intelligences that are in constant conflict. The game is played from a first-person perspective and with the Move controllers. Impressions can be seen in the new trailer and there is also news regarding the controls.
Der Creative Director Erik Odeldahl sagte: „Ursprünglich sollte man sich in Apex Construct nur per Teleportation bewegen können. Aber nachdem wir uns das Feedback von VR-Gaming-Communitys angehört haben, kann ich jetzt bestätigen, dass schon ab der Veröffentlichung auch direkte Bewegungen mit flüssigen Drehungen möglich sind. Wir wollen, dass jeder Spieler Apex Construct mit seinem bevorzugten Stil erleben kann.“
