Developer ILMxLAB has now confirmed that "Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series" will be released for PlayStation VR on 25 August 2020. A launch trailer was released at the same time.
It is also pleasing that the PSVR version of "Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series" includes all three episodes, which are already available for Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift, right from the start. The action takes place on the planet Mustafar, where Darth Vader has built his fortress. You explore this fortress, uncover ancient secrets lurking beneath the planet's surface and learn to master the Force.
The Producer Harvey Whitney has commented on the development of the new version: "The PlayStation VR version is being developed by ILMxLAB in collaboration with Black Shamrock. Under normal circumstances, developing a game is already difficult and challenging. Add a pandemic and home office to the mix and it becomes even trickier. Despite everything, the teams have worked tirelessly to create an experience that will certainly not disappoint."
