It has been announced that the new "Microsoft Flight Simulator" will support the Reverb G2 VR headset, which was developed in collaboration between Microsoft, HP and Valve.
However, the HP Reverb G2 will not be launched on the market until autumn 2020. The corresponding VR update for the "Microsoft Flight Simulator" will be made available to all users free of charge in the near future. Other VR goggles will follow later, but no details are available yet.
"Developed by HP in collaboration with Microsoft and Valve, the new Reverb G2 VR headset delivers a brilliant, high-resolution display, excellent tracking and immersive sound to best capture the incredible visuals and full 3D soundscape," Microsoft said in its Xbox Blog to the VR headset.
"Microsoft Flight Simulator" will be released on 18 August 2020 on Windows 10 PC , in Xbox Game Pass for PC (beta), as a disc version in stationary retail and on Steam. "Standard Edition", "Deluxe Edition" and "Premium Deluxe Edition" can be purchased on Steam can be pre-ordered.
