Audi expands digital service in Switzerland as well

In an interview with Horizont Swiss, Katharina Momani, Head of Marketing Audi, AMAG Import, as one of the top decision-makers interviewed, answered the difficult question of what to do after the lockdown. Virtual reality is one of them.

According to Katharina Momani Import, Audi has been working on the transformation towards digitalisation for a long time. "In view of the current difficult global situation, we have now accelerated the course we have already taken and are further expanding our digital services and offerings together with our retail partners."

Virtual showroom Switzerland

On 24 April, the virtual showroom was launched in Switzerland, with which Audi aims to enhance the digital customer experience. "The application connects e-mobility experts with prospective Audi customers via smart glasses, enabling personalised appointments directly on and in the car, regardless of location."

For example, Audi is currently preparing the market launch of a new model purely digitally for the first time in the company's history.

"The new A3 family will reach customers worldwide in the course of the year. For this, 15,000 sales and service employees and around 20,000 service technicians at dealerships around the world need to be prepared and trained. In view of the coronavirus crisis, Audi is completely dispensing with face-to-face training for the first time and is instead using a variety of digital formats, from web-based training to augmented reality and virtual reality training."
