Virtual Vaud Journey

It's never too early to get ideas and inspiration for your next trip. Have you ever visited the Vaud region? You can now do so from the comfort of your own home, as the various players in the tourist region have joined forces to put together a comprehensive virtual programme.

Thanks to several videos with 360-degree 3D technology, visitors can explore the most beautiful sights of the Lake Geneva region on their own with the help of a PC or virtual reality headset. Innovative tourism association

Vaud Tourism had wanted to offer content in 3D and 360° for some time. Thanks to the technological advances of recent years and the easier integration of 3D and 360° films into the main social networks, the time had come to take this step.

Vaud Tourism has NVP3D (Nicolet Vidéo Productions 3D), a Vaud-based pioneering company in the field of 3D video, to produce two 360° films in 3D and a panorama. Using a drone with a wingspan of one metre seventy, equipped with a stabiliser and a 360° camera with 6 lenses, the film team captured the most typical landscapes of the canton of Vaud from July to November 2019.
