Explaining innovations with augmented reality

Glas Trösch is the specialist for everything to do with glass. In its innovation laboratory, specialists are constantly developing new product ideas. However, before these innovations go into production, they are tested by potential customers for their market suitability. For this purpose, the agency Interpoint 3D objects built for use with augmented reality (AR).

The animated augmented reality models visualise the functionalities of the innovations and thus help to explain the products in a comprehensible way. The application is started directly via the smartphone's web browser. This makes the tedious installation of an app superfluous.

"We used to build elaborate prototypes for our product ideas. With augmented reality, we have found a modern solution that can be implemented efficiently and is well received by customers," Andreas Scheib, Head of Communications.
