Alien Isolation gets VR mod

The survival horror game "Alien: Isolation" was released without VR support, although the developer Creative Assembly was working on it. However, the endeavour was unfortunately discontinued. Now an unofficial modification called "MotherVR" has been released.

"MotherVR" actually brings virtual reality into the game, which should make the horror experience even more intense. "MotherVR" is in an early alpha version, which is why various problems and errors are still to be expected, but fortunately the mod is being further developed.

"MotherVR" currently only supports Oculus Rift. The game is played either with mouse and keyboard or with the Xbox controller. Roomscale is not yet supported, which is why you can play sitting down. HTC Vive and motion controllers will also be added in the future.

Those who play "Alien: Isolation" in VR can, for example, look around corners. In addition, you can look around when operating terminals. This is not possible in the normal game. Via the Link the download and installation instructions for "MotherVR" are available.
