VR and AR games and an après-ski hit

"Face Slalom" with Didier Cuche, cross-country movements with Dario Cologna and "Goalie" with HC Davos striker Inti Pestoni. Davos Klosters uses virtual and augmented reality in its current campaign and produces the song "Ufa und aba" to go with it.

The destination Davos Klosters has been positioning itself with the claim "Sports Unlimited" since spring 2018. In order to communicate the new positioning, the Bandara developed a campaign that makes it possible to experience the winter sports on offer in Davos Klosters. It also shows that in Davos Klosters you can not only move on snow and ice, but also on the dance floor.

At the start of the ski season, the Facebook AR game "Face Slalom" was launched, in which you control a skier by moving your head to the left and right. In the run-up to the FIS Cross-Country Skiing World Cup race Davos Nordic, Olympic champion Dario Cologna challenged passers-by in Zurich city centre to warm up, with the participants' movements being tracked and evaluated with a 3D sensor.

Just in time for the Spengler Cup, a virtual reality game followed, in which you have to catch the pucks of HC Davos forward Inti Pestoni as an ice hockey goalie. A video was produced for each of the games and distributed via social media. The highlight: All three games were programmed in such a way that they trigger rhythmic movements in the players. The song "Ufa und aba" was produced to match this rhythm - and the movements were combined to create a dance.

The music video for "Ufa und aba" is currently being shared and commented on diligently on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. And the song is setting the mood in après-ski venues and can be streamed or downloaded on the usual music platforms. On the Website you can find more information about the campaign and the winter sports on offer in Davos Klosters.
