Intruders: Hide and Seek - psychological terror thriller for PSVR

Daedalic Entertainment and the Spanish Tessera Studios will release the psychological terror thriller "Intruders: Hide and Seek" on 13 February 2019 for the PlayStation 4, including optional support for PlayStation VR. PC gamers will have to wait until the end of 2019.

In "Intruders: Hide and Seek", three dangerous intruders break into a holiday home in the countryside and take the family prisoner. The eldest son Ben, whose role you take on, manages to hide in time. However, he is locked in the house with the intruders. Ben must therefore find out who the criminals are and what they want in order to save his family.

The press release explains the gameplay: "Without any confrontation, the player must sneak through the house undetected and must never be discovered. The immersion of the game is transferred to the VR experience. The player adopts the attitude and perception of a ten-year-old and feels both helpless and powerless. In addition, the burglars moving through the building differ in their perspectives. Where one has a far-reaching optical perception, the other utilises a wider optical periphery. Ben has to recognise the movements of uninvited guests in order to be able to skilfully move past them."

A trailer provides impressions. Incidentally, "Intruders: Hide and Seek" has already received various awards, including the Playstation Talent Award, the SXSW Best Gaming Pitch Award and the F&S Premio Titanium Award. So you can be excited.
