Building technology goes virtual reality

suissetec, the Association of Building Services Engineers, inspired young people at SwissSkills 2018 with a new virtual reality game. The game "Test Your Skills" was created in collaboration with the creative agency erdmannpeisker and the VR and AR service provider Bandara. In this VR game, young people can familiarise themselves with the five building technology professions in five exciting mini-games and beat the high score.

The game was developed for cardboards, which were given to the players free of charge. They can continue playing with friends at home and suissetec is still present with an attractive give-away. At the trade fair, players were able to play the VR game with an Oculus Rift and win headphones as daily prizes. The competition for the main prize - a trip to Europapark - will continue until the end of the year.
For the second time, suissetec is successfully using virtual reality games at its trade fair appearances. "Last year's VR game "Toilet Superbowl" was a real crowd-puller for young people. And the new game "Test Your Skills" also met with great interest and was played by many young people," says Martina Bieler, Project Manager at suissetec.
