Der Entwickler Bimboosoft hat mit „Dream Match Tennis VR“ ein neues Sportspiel in der Entwicklung, bei dem Fans von Virtual Reality und Tennis voll auf ihre Kosten kommen sollen. „Dream Match Tennis VR“ wird im Sommer 2018 für PlayStation VR erscheinen. Andere Plattformen wurden bisher nicht erwähnt.
Bimboosoft focuses on an authentic and realistic simulation of the sport, which is why an arcade game in the style of „Virtua Tennis“ should not be expected. The game is played from the first-person view and the PlayStation Move motion controllers are used for the controls. Immerhin sind Hilfen für Einsteiger vorgesehen. „Dream Match Tennis VR“ bietet mit „Challenge“, „Exhibition“ und „Practice“ drei Modi an. Es stehen zudem acht Charaktere zur Auswahl.
