On 1 March, a GfK business event on the topic of virtual reality will take place at the Mall of Switzerland, specifically geared towards the Swiss retail trade.
Will Virtual & Augmented Reality fundamentally change shopping experiences? Is it the next technological revolution that will offer brand manufacturers and retailers entirely new options for marketing and addressing customers? Virtual reality is already being used in a variety of ways and many brand manufacturers and retailers are currently exploring the current and future potential of this technology. GfK, one of the largest market research institutes in the world, invites you to an exciting business event around these questions.
At the GfK Virtual Reality Event on 1 March from 4 p.m. in the Pathé cinema complex, Mall of Switzerland, participants will learn in the first presentation about the possible applications and future potentials in Swiss retail using international examples from various sectors.
These technologies also have a positive impact on market research. Therefore, another lecture will show how questions can be tested in a realistic environment while customers move through a virtual shop.
Finally, the event will take a look at the academic field and be rounded off with a presentation on the topic of Mixed Reality. On a guided tour of the Mall of Switzerland with the centre's management, visitors will also take a look behind the real scenes and learn how the shopping centre integrates Virtual Reality into the customer experience. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience virtual reality for themselves at a live demo conducted by GfK NORM.
