Will the Nintendo Switch be another console to support virtual reality? There is no official confirmation at the moment, but security consultant Cody Brocious has reported about Twitter announced that it had discovered two lines of code in the source code of the Switch's operating system that hint at VR support.
It is reported that although the Switch's operating system is based in some parts on Android, which is known from smartphones and tablets, the section with the VR entry apparently represents developer material from Nintendo. Whether this is actually an indication of future support is questionable at the moment, however, as the lines of code could show an idea that has long since been discarded and is no longer current.
As the Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima already said before several months confirmed, they are definitely looking into VR support for the Switch. Before such a feature can be released, Nintendo wants to make sure, for example, that VR games can be played for several hours without any problems. At the time, he was concerned with things like nausea and headaches.
