Sony Interactive Entertainment has announcedhow often PlayStation VR has sold. And this does not mean units delivered to retailers. We are actually talking about VR headsets that are in the hands of users.
As confirmed, PlayStation VR has sold over three million units worldwide. At the same time, 21.9 million games and experiences were sold for PlayStation VR. A total of almost 340 PSVR games and experiences were released.
„Wir möchten uns bei allen unseren Fans für die tolle Unterstützung bedanken und sind begeistert, dass so viele unserer Spieler die Magie von VR erlebt haben und in die fesselnden Welten eingetreten sind, die unsere Sinne elektrisieren,“ so Mary Yee Vice President, PlayStation Marketing.
Darüber hinaus hat Sony Interactive Entertainment die Termine zweier PSVR-Spiele genannt. Dabei handelt es sich „Creed: Rise to Glory“ (25. September 2018) und „Evasion“ (9. Oktober 2018). Ausserdem wurde eine Liste mit den bisher meistgespielten Titeln veröffentlicht.
