A short time in the sun in Davos

Spend some time in the sun again, says the video clip at the end. Passers-by on Europaallee were able to experience the wonderful mountain world of Davos Klosters via virtual reality in cloudy Züri weather. The whole thing was skilfully staged.

The visitors took a seat on a real chairlift, on which they were then allowed to ride up the mountain in VR together with former Miss Switzerland Dominique Rinderknecht. During the descent on skis, a fan was used to make it easier for them to immerse themselves in the VR. The sun was simulated with a radiant heater. So to speak, the simplified implementation of Ambiotherm. So that the visitor could not only see the raclette but also smell it, a caquelon filled with real cheese was held under his nose. And at the end, the tactile sense was also addressed when Dominique Rinderknecht handed the VR user a coffee with a shot - also in real. The amazement is written all over the visitors' faces.

By the way - Davos keeps its promise. The cover picture is from last weekend.
