Hedgehog Henry wins an Emmy for Oculus Story Studio

The Oculus Story Studio wins its first Emmy for its VR production "Henry". The award was presented in the category "outstanding original interactive programme". This is the first major international award for Oculus Story Studio, a subsidiary of Oculus, which focuses on the creation of interactive films.

The short film Henry is about the birthday of a hedgehog called Henry. Everything is ready, but where are his friends...The short film gives an insight into the lonely life of the lovable hedgehog.

Ramiro Lopez, director of the short film said: "When we started the project, it was a step into an unknown world of creating emotional VR films. We didn't know what would come out of it and what the result would be. We were fascinated by the countless possibilities. Henry is just one step on a long journey and we hope to have inspired many storytellers."

This is the studio's second VR short film. They are currently working on their third project called "Dear Angelica".
