Gameorama opens Virtual Reality Arena

The Lucerne Museum of Games begins operations at its new location - at least partially; but at least with a small VR Arena.

The City of Lucerne Museum of Games Gameorama offers a new attraction: groups can compete against each other in a virtual reality arena in various games.

There are 7 different games to choose from - from a snowball fight to a pirate cook-off to a zombie shooter.

Four players can dive into the seven available games at the same time, which last around 3 to 5 minutes. The spectators can follow what their comrades are experiencing in the game on monitors. The VR Arena can be rented for groups of 4 to 8 people at the introductory price of 250 Swiss francs for 50 minutes.

The Arena is already at the new museum location at Hirschengraben 49, just a few metres from the old site. The rest of the museum is moving this autumn, as the remaining premises are still being renovated. At the moment www.gameorama.ch Money has been raised to purchase more exhibits.
