Find-the-code Outdoor Escape Games with AR Option

Following a trail, solving puzzles, cracking codes or even finding treasure at the end - scavenger hunts provide action and fun. At Find-the-code Outdoor Escape Games, there are games for certain cities with an augmented reality (AR) option.

The story is the same for every city: "A criminal gone mad makes a game out of threatening various Swiss cities and communities. Your only chance to stop him: crack the secret code with team play. But it's not that easy, because time is limited... Start the timer, solve the puzzles at the different locations with team play & chat with the mad criminal. "

Adventures for various Swiss cities can be downloaded online at Find-the-code, which can be mastered in teams on the smartphone. Teenagers from the age of twelve can solve the puzzles and finally crack the secret code. There are different levels of difficulty depending on the game chosen. The cases are almost all city-related.

Augmented reality hunts

Some of the games offer interactive augmented reality puzzles that appear on the smartphone display while you are on the move, and sometimes you also need to download an app.

The option to play with AR is already available in the following cities:

  • Aarau
  • Bern
  • Solothurn
  • St. Gallen

In the Find-the-Codes marked with augmented reality, virtual information is superimposed on the real world with the help of the Find-the-Code Toolbox app, which helps solve individual puzzles. Participants chase ghosts on the Find-the-Code Bern with augmented reality.

All available games, the participating cities and detailed instructions can be found at the Homepage from Find-the-code. The adventures are a mixture of scavenger hunt and outdoor escape room and provide good entertainment. At least two smartphones with internet connection are needed per group. The games are suitable for participants aged 12 and over. The costs for the AR games are 40 Swiss francs per group, which can be up to a maximum of five people.
