The Zurich-based AR and VR agency Bandara has developed an augmented reality experience that brings the Lindt Teddy Advent calendar to life. If you point your smartphone at the calendar, there is a new story to discover every day.
In 24 episodes, the film tells the story of how the Lindt-Teddy family experiences the Advent season. At the centre are the two children, who can hardly wait for Christmas and therefore do everything they can to make the time pass more quickly - until an incident occurs that spoils the Christmas spirit. However, the problem can be solved by Christmas Eve - and there is a sugar-sweet happy ending under the Christmas tree.
According to a press release, the AR Advent calendar is available in Switzerland, France and Austria.
