The first Lego shop of the future recently opened its doors in Geneva's Manor. Thanks to a digital play table and a Digibox, the Lego sets come to life.
Geneva seems to be a good place for the Danish toy manufacturer. Last November, Switzerland's first Lego shop opened at the Eaux-Vives station in Geneva. The pop-up shop also functioned as a test. Lego is correspondingly confident: "Manor in Geneva is the ideal location for our Swiss premiere of the Lego shop of the future," says Maximilian Schmidl from Lego.
There are a few shops in Switzerland that specialise in selling the iconic building blocks. However, the shop in Geneva is the only official Lego one to remain open permanently in Switzerland.
