A new highlight at the Bernisches Historisches Museum is the travelling exhibition called Mythos Samurai. It also includes a virtual reality (VR) like experience where visitors can slip into the skin of a samurai.
The History Museum opens its massive Samurai exhibition. The legendary warriors shaped the history and culture of Japan for over 700 years. Their myth tells of bravery and loyalty, of power and intrigue.
The "Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller" collection presents the history of the samurai with detailed armour and weapons. Swordsmanship can be practised in a virtual reality-like game.
The exhibition will run until 28 August 2022.
