The Basel online portal Prime News is expanding its podcast offering with two new formats, according to a statement. The science podcast "UniBâle" was launched in collaboration with the University of Basel. This will be followed in January by the premiere of "Wirtschaft on Air", a cooperation with the Basel Chamber of Commerce.
In the first episode of "UniBâle", Prime News co-editor Oliver Sterchi talks to scientist Anja Zimmermann about the innovative augmented reality app that she developed together with other members of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Basel. The app, about which we have already reportedis a hit with the public: it was downloaded 25,000 times in just one week. A clinical study has also shown that the virtual training on the smartphone reduces the real fear of spiders.
