HeroFest 2021 is getting closer. The festival for esports, gaming and cosplay will take place from 1 to 3 October 2021 on the BERNEXPO grounds. We from VR Room will also be there.
From 1 to 3 October 2021, the BERNEXPO GROUPE invites you to the first major convention in months. "The organising team of the HeroFestbut also the exhibitors, gamers, cosplayers, artists and game developers are eager to finally be able to celebrate this fantasy festival again," says Matt Huber, festival director of HeroFest.
Cosplay, Streamers and Stars
HeroFest offers cosplay beginners the opportunity to get a taste of stage experience in a protected setting at so-called catwalks. Later, the cosplay professionals conquer the stage with their self-made costumes and rehearsed choreographies.
Entertainment will also be provided by the numerous invited streamers and influencers. For example, big names from the scene like Geekstübli or crowd favourites like Aditotoro. In addition, other renowned guests from the worlds of esports, cosplay, art or streaming will be within reach at HeroFest.
E-sports at the highest Swiss level
At HeroFest, the finals of the biggest Swiss esports leagues will take place - literally. "Those who only know Esports from streams or YouTube I recommend a visit to the E-sports stage. Cheering fans and cheering players bring the spirit of Esports to life and make for thrilling emotional moments," says Huber.
This weekend on the Esports stage, this year's winners of the Swisscom Hero League will be crowned. A total of 55,000 euros in prize money will be awarded at the HeroFest tournaments. Franconia awarded.
In-house LAN party: the SwitzerLAN
Even before HeroFest begins, 1200 gamers gather in the halls next door for SwitzerLAN. Both from Switzerland and from nearby foreign countries. The LAN party is one of the biggest in Europe and one of the first since pandemic times.

Gamers have the chance to try out all kinds of consoles and platforms at HeroFest. Or they can immerse themselves in strange worlds in the immersive zones for virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR). Esport Tennis in Switzerland for the first time
With Esport Tennis, VRROOM is presenting a virtual reality platform as a Swiss premiere with which tennis can be learned in addition to the coach on the court.
The training is embedded in a fun and competitive game. The VR Tennis Trainer combines the playful fun of VR technology with effective tennis training. The player starts with warm-up exercises and continues with the most important tennis movements such as forehand, backhand, serve and so on. VR Tennis Trainer always serves with the right trajectory to train specific movements. The system analyses the performance in real time. In the simplest way, entire matches can also be played online against other opponents. From November, the first major international tournaments will also take place.

In the Virtual Reality Racing Simulator, you race against each other. The realistic racing simulator provides an authentic driving experience with steering wheel, pedals, racing seat and hydraulic movements. You drive with the Logitech G920 steering wheel and Project Cars 3.

Sports Living Room / Beat the Pro
The Sports Living Room will feature popular sports such as the new FIFA22 and NBA 2K22, with visitors playing on a 75-inch TCL TV with the latest Sonos Beam sound system.
On Saturday and Sunday, the "Beat the Pro" competition will take place from 14:00 - 16:00. Visitors will play FIFA 22 against Pro FIFA players. A Sonos Beam X LFC Fan Box will be raffled off among all visitors who beat the respective pro.
