Test Tennis Esports at the Schiltacker Tennis Centre

On 18/19 September 2021, at the Schiltacker Tennis Centre, free tennis application Tennis Esport be tested.

The main goal of the Esport Tennis platform is to help people learn to play tennis faster and cheaper, as a complement to on-court training with an instructor. It will help to learn the basic movements and improve/perfect them in real time with the help of the computer. The training is embedded in a fun and competitive game. The VR Tennis Trainer combines the playful fun of VR technology with effective tennis training.

The player can start with the basics and progress with VR Motion Learning. It includes real-time motion tracking and allows real-time feedback.

The player starts with warm-up exercises and continues with the most important tennis movements such as forehand, backhand, serve and so on. VR Tennis Trainer always serves with the right trajectory to train specific movements. The system analyses the performance in real time.

Real-time motion capture technologies, an immersive VR environment and haptic devices are used to significantly enhance the effect of immersion and motion learning. The platform immerses you in the world of virtual tennis, where you can play as if you were on a real court. You play with a real racket and feel the impact of hitting the ball, even if it is a virtual ball. You can move freely as if you were playing on a real course. In the simplest way, you can also play entire matches online against other opponents. In November, there will be the first big international tournament.
