Maskmaker is now available

The publisher MWM Interactive and the developer InnerspaceVR, which one can read from "A Fisherman's Tale"have now released the mystical VR puzzle adventure "Maskmaker".

"Maskmaker" is for Oculus Rift S, Oculus Quest (via link cable), PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and PC-VR via SteamVR available. In "Maskmaker" you meet the powerful head of the Masked World, Prospero, who invites the VR player into his workshop as an assistant. One has to travel to different worlds to take possession of the guardians within the Mask Kingdom. One will explore the worlds to collect rare resources, solve puzzles and develop crafting skills as well as prove that one is worthy of being a mask maker.

"The main gameplay in Maskmaker lies in making masks, which you can then use to travel to the Mask World. So it was very important for us to create an experience that makes players feel like they are actually making the masks in the game themselves," said Balthazar Auxietre co-founder and creative director at Innerspace VR. "The designs of the masks are quite simple at the beginning, but as players progress, they really need to get creative and find the right materials and blueprints to access more areas of the mask world. Thanks to the magic of VR, we can mimic these real-world movements - modelling the masks with a chisel, painting them with brushes and more - and make them really precise to create some of the more elaborate designs of each mask. So you can feel like expert craftsmen and women!"
