VR fans beware! The games may begin, because the requirements of the federal government allow various VR providers in Switzerland to reopen from the following Monday, 19.4.21. Of course, this will still only happen in compliance with a protection concept: consistent hygiene, wearing a mask, keeping your distance, clean contact tracing and no mixing of guest groups.
From next week the Fusion Arena, the VR City and the VR Center in Dietlikon finally open again. The federal government's relaxations finally make it possible again after months.
What applies where?
For example, in order to be able to guarantee the distances in the Fusion Arena in Bern and in Zurich at all times, a maximum of 20 guests per visit are allowed.
In Dietlikon they say: "To protect our customers and staff, we have decided to receive only one group every 60 minutes in order to minimise inter-group contact. The owners announce: "After months of loneliness without our customers, we can finally reopen on 19.4! Of course, we haven't been entirely idle during this time - new games will be added to the range shortly - be ready first for "Showdown Desert Storm" a new breathtaking PVP adventure."
The VR City in Züruch reopens exactly as it did before it was closed, says the owner: masks are compulsory, disinfection and so on. The maximum group size here is 15 people. A maximum of 50 people are allowed in the entire VR City. Food and drink are served outside on the stairs or on benches, provided the weather is good, with a maximum of 4 people per table. "At least something. We're really looking forward to working again," says Michael.
Playing with a mask - how does it work?
A video from the Fusion Arena Kreuzlingen shows that playing with a mask is not so bad:
So fun and games are also possible with the protection concept, as you can see.
