Augmented Reality for shopping in Switzerland

According to the E-Com Report DACH just under one third of the people in Switzerland introducethat they Use augmented reality for shopping.

For the study in connection with online shopping, around 4000 consumers from Switzerland, Germany and Austria were surveyed. The study by Marketagent.com Switzerland not only examined shopping on the internet, but also the acceptance of new shopping offers. The result:

Augmented reality yes - DNA tests no

The majority of respondents cannot yet imagine shopping in shops without employees or with the use of augmented reality. Nevertheless, 31 percent can imagine using augmented reality for shopping. The same number of respondents can imagine paying by facial recognition or fingerprint. The smallest acceptance, at 15 percent, was for products that are adapted to the needs of the respective consumer via a DNA test.

For the almost one-third, there are already one or two offers, such as the app by IKEA (see cover picture).
