Sycoforge releases trailer for "Return to Nangrim

Sycoforge has taken advantage of the turbulent Coronatage and has prepared the latest version of their trailer for the release of "Return to Nangrim" - including Russian and German translation.

Sycoforge released a new teaser trailer for its debut game "Return to Nangrim" on 8 January. "Return to Nangrim" is a VR playable fantasy adventure game from a first-person perspective with exploration, puzzle, RPG and survival elements that is being developed in Zurich, Switzerland. We have already written a few times about the exciting project. reports.

Tolkien goes VR

The teaser trailer offers the fantasy and adventure community a first glimpse into the fabled universe of Arafinn. The teaser shows vast landscapes with monumental dwarf statues, and a dwarf who, although looking troubled, appears warm-hearted. Furthermore, the teaser introduces possible enemies, a brave human-like creature wrapped in armour and equipped with a spear, and also shows zombie-like creatures roaming the darkness of the lost kingdom. Strong graphics and epic dwarven music give the teaser a Tolkien-style feel.

Players of Return to Nangrim are invited on an epic, transmedia gameplay adventure where they must use their wits and skills to uncover the secrets and history of Nangrim. To do so, they must explore Nangrim. Nangrim was once the great capital of the Stonebeards in the Nimbor Mountains, overrun and destroyed by bloody Uturi. Abandoned but not forgotten. Players must craft weapons to defend themselves against creatures of darkness. Language skills are also required. Players must learn Hilduir, the runic language of the dwarves. To do this, they must also collect and combine items to interact with the environment and piece together the history, puzzles and culture of this long-forgotten nation.

Players don't actually need VR equipment to experience the lore-rich fantasy adventure. But players who already have equipment can immerse themselves in the game much more impressively to explore epic throne rooms and mountain caves. So we'd say: if you're going to go for it, go for it!
