Digitaltage 2020 also in Aargau

The Digital Days 2020 will take place phygital (physical and digital). From 1 to 3 November 2020, digitalswitzerland and its partners will be focusing on new technologies. Various digitalisation-related events will be held in the Aarau region and elsewhere. Visitors will gain insights into big data, e-government and augmented and virtual reality.

The Digital Week in the Aarau region will take place from 27 October to 3 November 2020 and is open to all interested parties. The canton and city offer a wide range of digitalisation topics, for example in the areas of education, health and agriculture. Visitors will also gain an insight into big data, e-government and augmented or virtual reality (AR/VR). This year's Digital Days will also conclude with a networking event on 3 November 2020 in Aarau.
The Museum Aargau explains and demonstrates how digital storytelling works with the help of VR and AR using the IndustriekulTOUR Aabach. As we recently reportedthere are new tours there.

Virtual exhibitions and workshops in the city museum

Throughout Digital Week, young and old can also travel and immerse themselves in digital worlds at the Stadtmuseum with virtual reality despite corona. The Stadtmuseum is presenting a selection from this year's VR programme from the Fantoche Baden International Festival of Animated Film as well as excursions to various international museums and their collections.

Digital Days Switzerland 2020

The Swiss Digital Days 2020 bring digitalisation closer to the Swiss population. For the fourth time, interested parties can find out more, actively participate in discussions on current topics and learn specific digital skills for everyday life. In the first week of November 2020, the following will be available online at digitaltage.swiss and more than 150 free events on the programme in all parts of the country. Over 20 locations and around 60 partners from the business world are taking part in the Swiss Digital Days. This includes the Digital Week in the Aarau region from 27 October to 3 November 2020, an initiative of the Canton of Aargau, the City of Aarau with the City Museum and the City Library, the digital agency Previon and the fiduciary company Kendris. Registration for the various events will be possible on the same page from mid-October.
