The Bernese department stores' Loeb is focusing more on toys. The toy department at the parent store in Bern has been expanded and the toy retailer Franz Carl Weber will move into the Biel branch in autumn. The VR division is also to be expanded.
The specialist retailer, which is already located in Biel, is moving in as a tenant partner at Loeb. The two companies, founded in 1881, are thus pooling their customer bases at the Biel site, as Loeb department stores' announced on Tuesday.
A cooperation between Loeb and Franz Carl Weber is currently also being examined for the Thun location. There, the two shops are located in close proximity.
At the Bern Motherhouse, the children's ward has already been redesigned in 2019. What is particularly exciting for us about this story: Now the department stores' management has expanded the offer with additional attractions with virtual reality technologies. Unfortunately, the online shop does not yet provide any precise information on what exactly is involved.
