CD Projekt Red is competing with "Pokémon Go" and co. as the augmented reality role-playing game "The Witcher: Monster Slayer" has been announced. The first trailer and a video show the direction the gameplay will take.
"The Witcher: Monster Slayer", developed by Spokko, will be offered free of charge and will be available for iOS and Android. The game is due to be released soon, but CD Projekt Red has not yet given an exact release date. In "The Witcher: Monster Slayer", you have to become a professional monster slayer in order to rid the world of the corrupt creatures. In addition to the augmented reality battles, which are carried out from a first-person perspective, the creators promise high-quality, story-driven quests.
"The game challenges you to explore the world around you as you track, study and fight monsters. You can also use the time of day and weather conditions to your advantage, as you should always arrive prepared for battle. To defeat stronger enemies, you can craft powerful potions and oils, build bombs and monster bait, and upgrade your skills and equipment," the gameplay explains.
