Sony Interactive Entertainment has gone into detail about which PS4 peripherals will be compatible with the upcoming PlayStation 5. This of course includes PlayStation VR and the accessories.
It's been known for a while that PSVR will work with the PlayStation 5, but now Sony has put it this way: "Both PlayStation Move motion controllers and the PlayStation VR target controller can be used with supported PSVR games on PS5."
The existing camera that captures the PSVR headset requires an adapter, but it will be free: "The PlayStation Camera is also compatible with PSVR games supported on the PS5. An adapter is required to connect, which will be provided to PlayStation VR users at no additional cost." More information will be given at a later date, however.
By the way, the previous DualShock 4 controller cannot be used with PS5 games, as these are supposed to use the new possibilities and features of the DualSense controller. This could also have an impact on PlayStation VR, but so far Sony has not announced any VR game specifically for the PlayStation 5.
