As part of its "EA Play Live 2020" event, Electronic Arts presented the first game scenes from "Star Wars: Squadrons", which will be fully playable in virtual reality on both PC and PlayStation 4.
Interestingly, "Star Wars: Squadrons" will only be playable from the cockpit perspective, which is best suited to VR. The five-minute video not only shows gameplay, but also takes a closer look at the various features and modes of "Star Wars: Squadrons". The space shooter will be released on 2 October 2020 for PC (Origin, Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
According to EA, "Star Wars: Squadrons" includes exciting 5v5 multiplayer flight battles, massive fleet battles and a completely new story that deals with the last days of the Galactic Empire and the rise of the New Republic after the events of "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi". So the second Death Star was already destroyed, but the Empire was not immediately defeated.
