Star Wars: Squadrons with VR mode announced

Electronic Arts has announced "Star Wars: Squadrons", which will be released on 2 October 2020 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. There will be VR support on PC and PS4.

The good news is that you can experience the full game via virtual reality. "Star Wars: Squadrons" features 5-on-5 multiplayer battles, a single-player story part, huge fleet battles and an original story that takes place in the last days of the Galactic Empire and describes the rise of the New Republic after the events of "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Knights".

In Star Wars: Squadrons, you climb into the iconic starfighter cockpits of both the New Republic and Empire fleets. Since the game is played from a first-person perspective, VR support is a natural choice to make the battles even more immersive. The first cinematic trailer gives you goosebumps, but the gameplay debut will only take place on 19 June 2020 as part of EA Play Live take place.
