Behind-the-Scenes Video for Iron Man VR

Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Camouflaj have released a new behind-the-scenes video for "Iron Man VR", which provides some interesting insights into the action game.

The developers at Camouflaj talk about how they went about giving Iron Man the incredible feeling of flying in his armour and bringing the original story to life in virtual reality. "Iron Man VR" will be released for PlayStation VR on 3 July 2020. In the PlayStation Store a free demo is also available for download.

It is said that it has never been so immersive to dive into the world of Marvel. "To save the world, players use two PlayStation Move motion controllers to intuitively zip through the world of Iron Man. After the missions, players regularly return to the workshop of the charismatic Tony Stark to further improve the powerful armour and adapt it to their own wishes," say the makers.

And further: "Various armour settings and the sophisticated and realistic flight system ensure precise adjustment of the flight speed to the respective situation, making daring manoeuvres possible even for beginners. With Iron Man's Repulsor jets, you can cut tight turns at high speed, fire targeted shots and deliver juicy punches in the air."

We will soon find out whether everything will turn out as successfully as the developers describe, but at least "Iron Man VR" won the prize for the best VR game at the Gamescom Award 2019.
