Now they should finally all be open again: Switzerland's VR Arcades! Of course, the operators must comply with various FOPH requirements and present a protection concept, but this should not affect the fun of playing and exploring.

The long wait has come to an end and leisure centres - albeit with restrictions - are open again. It's VR time again! Ronny Tobler, founder and CEO of Pandally took the time during the corona lockdown to create a virtual reality map for Switzerland, in which he also took the competition into account. $

On the Website, with the simple name Virtual Reality Map, you can see not only where the arcades are located, but also which companies are behind them. If you take a look at the Swiss map, you can see that practically every region, indeed every language region, covers the growing need for VR arcades.

VR in all its diversity

The offers are roughly divided into Large-Scale Free Roaming VR and VR Stations. However, you realise how diverse the range actually is when you take a closer look at the filter options. On the page, you can filter in detail by features such as Force Feedback Guns, Single Player, Full Body VR, Multiplayer, Physical Props or by VR system and genre such as Kids Games, Adventure, Escape Room, Shooter Coop, Shooter PvP and, last but not least, 4D effects such as heat, wind, rain and scent. So everyone will find something to suit their VR tastes.

Coming soon in Kreuzlingen

Watchful eyes may have already spotted that something is also bubbling on Lake Constance. Fusion Arena is planning to open another centre in Kreuzlingen. The location will be at Sonnenstrasse 16 in the Karussell shopping centre and should open in August.
